I started this blog to keep track of my fermentation related thoughts, recipes and projects. I thought it might be more entertaining to do it in a public manner; kind of like a public beer lab notebook.

I’m currently a graduate student in a medically driven field, although I do occasionally stumble upon fungal friends in the lab. In my free time, I’m particularly interested in the intersection of fermentation and science and this blog will likely reflect that.
